Do you know how states got discovered? Do you know how stories were first created? Mesopotamia created inventions that not even Einstein could recreate.  Let's take a journey through the start of all of that and go through some great moments of the epic of creation. Mesopotamia! Mesopotamians started making civilizations of their own and make better economy, but then they wanted more, so they started going to war with other civilizations. They did this because civilizations soon got jealous of others and thought war was the way to go. This was how we started cities and states.
    Before long there was a storybook of what they called a poem. The story of the epic of Gilgamesh started by an unknown writer. The story was about a huge Sumerian king that ruled over Uruk. It was a poem of death, jealousy, friendship, and selfishness. It was discovered and told in 1872 and told to be written in Akkad. They used clay tablets. According to Mr.donns It was important to the civilization because they used it for understanding of life and because it was a story to tell that was popular. This story had impact of other civilizations because they wanted to make stories and it still inspires people today but that was why it was written, for inspiration. The epic of Gilgamesh was the oldest recorded story ever.  Basically Gilgamesh was told to be the strongest and handsomest king ever lived, then another king came along and then they ended up being friends, next Gilgamesh and the other king betrayed the gods and a bad thing happened to the friend, finally Gilgamesh realized he didn't need eternal life and realized he had more to live for and that you only have one life to live so give it everything and make it be filled with happiness. First  the city/states were a big part of creation. The development of city/states were developed by the Mesopotamians that were traveling through, they started to realize they didn’t like hauling everything around and not being safe, so they started to make city/states. This was important because they needed shelter, protection, food, and a gathering place. They started to have a civilization of people to work on farming, pottery, or something that would help everybody. Then they started to trade and make their own. According to ducksters.com there was a lot of impact for others because then they wanted to take their homes and civilizations because they got jealous.
    Gradually through time they started to invent, and the chariot The Epic Of Creation…Mesopotamia!
was one of their many beautiful creations that we still use the mathematics and calculations behind it today. The chariot was pulled by horses, a two wheeled vehicle, and used mostly for warfare. Summers created the chariot for war. Then it became for going places. They created it shortly after the wheel was made by the Mesopotamians. It was very important to the civilization because they could be stronger in their wars and have something for hunting and entertainment. According to ducksters.com It was a impact on many other civilizations because they went to war with the summers and became jealous and lost because of their beautiful creations.

    Mesopotamia has created states all the way too the first wheel. They created the wonderful world of creation from writing to the first story. Now it's our turn to change the world like the mesopotamians did. There are a lot of things that have happened throughout time, but Mesopotamia was the start!
